For the best seal, first place your tortilla and fillings in the CRIMPiT, then microwave it for about 20 seconds to soften the wrap. After that, fold over the edges and crimp! No microwave? No problem—just brush the edge of your tortilla with water to help it seal with ease.

While the CRIMPiT is microwave and dishwasher safe, it is not heatproof. It should not be exposed to direct heat sources like an air fryer or oven as it may melt. Always remove the sealed tortilla from the CRIMPiT before heating.

Yes, you can microwave the CRIMPiT! It’s perfectly safe in the microwave, but be sure not to place it near any direct heat sources, like air fryers or ovens.

Great question! The CRIMPiT is made of a special plastic that doesn't absorb microwave energy the way food does. Since it doesn’t contain water, it doesn’t heat up in the microwave, which keeps it safe for use in your microwave without any risk of melting.

Any flour tortillas can be used with the CRIMPiT device. We recommend to use large 10-12" flour tortillas with the CRIMPiT. As there are so many available, it is a little bit of trial and error to find the ones you love :)

If your tortilla is a little dry then you can run a wet finger around the edge before sealing - this acts a little bit like glue.

You can heat any way you like - air fryer, oven, broiler or dry fry in a pan!

We say around 4-6 mins in the air fryer. You will need to test what works for you and your taste. 

Make sure to remove the crimped parcel from the CRIMPiT before heating.
